Commercial solar panel cleaning
On a commercial array, a few percent of lost output is real money every month. We clean business and multi-unit systems across Oʻahu with pure water, on a schedule that works around your operating hours.
Soiling costs more at scale
The physics are the same as a home system, but the numbers are not. A large array losing even a modest percentage to salt, dust and vog gives up meaningful kilowatt-hours every single month — and it compounds quietly, because nothing on your monitoring dashboard flags "dirty." It just reads low.
If you financed the system on a projected production figure, soiling is the gap between the projection and what you are actually banking.
Who we clean for
Businesses, warehouses, retail and office buildings, hotels, churches, schools, and multi-unit residential and HOA properties. If it has a rooftop array on Oʻahu, we can quote it.
How commercial work differs
We work around you. Early mornings, weekends, whatever keeps us out of your way. Your operations do not stop for a panel clean.
Scheduled maintenance, not one-offs. Most commercial clients move to a set schedule so production stays predictable and nobody has to remember to call. We put it in the calendar and show up.
Documentation for every visit. Before-and-after photos for each visit, so you have a record for your facilities file, your board, or your asset manager.
Licensed and insured. Certificates available before we set foot on site.
One point of contact. You deal with us directly, not a dispatcher.
Our method — same care, larger scale
Pure deionized water and soft brushes. No detergents, no pressure washing, nothing abrasive. Detergents leave a film that attracts dirt faster, and pressure washing risks forcing water past the panel seals — which is exactly what voids manufacturer warranties. We clean panel faces, frame channels and the array's bottom edge where debris packs in and shades the lowest row of cells.

Bird proofing for commercial arrays
Large arrays are prime nesting territory, and nesting brings rodents, and rodents chew DC wiring. On a commercial roof that means fault-finding, downtime and a real fire risk. We fit galvanized mesh around the array perimeter to seal it off — clipped to the frames, no drilling. Read about bird proofing →
